Batman Begins (2005)

After Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin (1997), here comes "Batman Begins". Warner Brothers tries to revive the Batman franchise, dormant since "Batman and Robin" in 1997, by applying less camp and more doom by means of its director, Christopher Nolan of the noir thriller "Memento".

Christian Bale is the brooding hero; Michael Caine is his loyal retainer Alfred; and Liam Neeson, Morgan Freeman, Ken Watanabe, Katie Holmes and Tom Wilkinson fill out the quite impressive, i must say, cast. Can they save the film?
